Experience
I have been tutoring in Mathematics for approximately four years and have worked with many students during this time period. I love working with students and it is my personal belief that anyone can be outstanding in Mathematics with enough confidence and practice. The grades of the students I have tutored drastically improved in just a few sessions. I received a 760 on the Mathematics section of the SAT. The SAT and the ACT were the only standardized tests I actually took, but I have helped other clients prepare for the math sections of the ASVAB (Test administered by the United States Armed Forces), GED, ISTEP, ACT, SAT, and even the PSAT for those attempting to receive the National Merit Scholarship. My hourly rate is $15 per hour, or $20 for 1.5 hours. A reduced hourly rate can be negotiated for referrals to friends and family.

Hobbies
I'm not your stereotypical mathematics tutor, the kids I have tutored claimed that I made mathematics more entertaining than their teachers and previous mathematics tutors ever did. I have a plethora of hobbies and interests, these hobbies mainly consist of self-taught skills used to entertain the students I tutor. Some of these hobbies include: juggling, solving Rubik's Cubes, computer programming, drawing, and even teaching myself new subjects of mathematics! I am a very outgoing person and I work well with all ages. I can relate to the students I am tutoring and offer a variety of tutoring methods, all easily understandable. I am very easy-going and my clients (both students and parents) love me because I am funny, respectful, kind, and caring. I am not one to quit until my student fully understands the material with complete confidence. I was diagnosed with ADD when I was in the third grade, and I have been on medicine for it since, so I know EXACTLY how to work with ADD/ADHD students who are struggling in mathematics. There is no such thing as being bad at mathematics, anyone can be a mathematician with the right guidance!
